Hello all! Today I have some icons made for theiconquest - Chapter Two's main quest. I chose the hard level, and for this first attempt I picked two makers: earlydreams and azuremonkey. I have more specifics under the cut, but simply put, I'm drawing inspiration from earlydreams's color and azuremonkey's complexity. The subjects of the icons are completely random. I just picked pictures I have saved. XD

Ohemgee, this claim was soooo haaaaard! ;____; BUT I ENJOYED IT SO MUCH. I think it's much more fun to really challenge myself than to just pop out the same icons over and over. Anyway, as always, there is MUCH experimentation here. Some of these I don't like that much, and some of them I'm really very proud of. XD Because of the Ask the Maker meme, I read many tutorials while making this batch: this one by twinstrike, this one by longerthanwedo, this one by apologizeg, this one by mm3butterfly, and this one by apologizeg. One of the BIGGEST things I discovered by reading all these tuts is gaussian blur, so I've used this technique on almost every icon. XD Oh, by the way, this is my claim for big20in20! I claimed The Borgias. Since I was really experimental, especially with reading tutorials, I'm very open to some feedback and concrit. ♥
