vapor.livejournal.comtvcharacter20! I chose Snow White/Mary Margaret from 'Once Upon A Time'. This show has taken over my life! I can't wait until new episodes return. As for Snow, she is ADORABLE. She's my second-favorite character, after Rumple. I know everybody loves Regina. I love Regina, too. But Snow is just so precious! Okay, anyway, the icons... I actually really like this batch. I think icon-making is always about experimentation, and the icons here really came together. I love just about every one of the icons I created for this claim. I hope you'll like them, too!

vapor.livejournal.comtheiconquest. I had a lot of fun with this one! I would have done more, but I ran out of ideas. I chose the rogue option, where I made two icons of a subject before and after an event. I think these are all pretty clear. :) 
vapor.livejournal.comtheiconquest. I chose Homeland this time because I just love the show so much! It's a strange and twisted love, I think. For this challenge, the focus is on 'tokens'. In Homeland, I've noticed that various types of technology are used far more often and are sometimes more important than guns. Cameras, tracking devices, cell phones, bombs, cars, planes, televisions, computers, and many other things. I've been doing some picspams of Homeland for Tumblr, and I've noticed how much technology is almost its own character in the show, and I find that so interesting. Very rarely is there even a gun in play, though when it is, it's of course important. Since I actually don't use a gun here at all, I decided to say this whole batch is 'easy'. When using any of these tokens, the action isn't very, you know, active or whatever. It's people talking on phones or staring at screens.

vapor.livejournal.commusicians20in20! I picked Marina and the Diamonds, though I can technically also icon my second choice (Florence and the Machine), but only Marina icons are here (except for the crossover icon). I am LOVING Marina lately. I'm just totally obsessed with her and her music. Thanks to Grande Caps again! Also, I hunted down the font used by Marina. Most sites charge for it, but I found it here for free! It's called Cooper Black. I thought I'd share!
vapor.livejournal.commovie20in20! I chose The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (the US version). It's definitely one my favorite movies of 2011, and it probably tops the list. Fincher is a MASTER, and I hope so hard that he comes back for Played With Fire and Hornet's Nest. Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara have already agreed to. FINCHER MUST! !!! OKAY, anyway, onto the icons! For the five pivotal moments of the movie, it was so difficult to choose! If you've seen the movie, you know it's complicated. If you've read the book, you know it's even MOAR complicated. It's like at least three different plots coming together and weaving around each other. Thanks to Grande Caps for the caps! :)

vapor.livejournal.com vapor.livejournal.comtheiconquest. This, time I chose one maker. I went back and back in their graphic entries by about four months, and there are a bunch of examples here. I chose erzsebet as my mentor. I've always loved her work, and here I'm trying to emulate her colors. Her icons are so bright and polished, and so expressive. Then I decided to make this batch Disney. What's more fun and bright and colorful than Disney icons? :D

vapor.livejournal.comtvcrush20in20! I chose Kate Austen from Lost. Kate is my favorite character from the show. I can't get enough of her! XD After making these icons, I feel like I get the most inspired from Lost. I don't know why that it is. If I think about it, Lost is probably my favorite television show, and my second-favorite fandom (after Harry Potter). I miss it so much! ;___; Anywho, I love the icons in this batch! I hope you enjoy them. :)
