Here's my entry for somein30! I found this challenge so difficult, so I ended up only making 10 icons instead of 20. Kind of disappointed, but at least I tried. These are so increadible!

I love the dark lighting throughout the set, 1 and 9 in particular are great. The monotone across some of these, 3 especially, is also super lovely.

These are so wonderful!<3 I love your different crops here, esp 1, 4, 5 and 7. I love the chocolate coloring in 3 and the contrast is fantastic! 4 has amazing coloring, too<3 I love the blue/red lighting/coloring in 7 and the shadow/lighting contrast in 10.

Aaahh a lot of people are commenting how difficult this challenge is, hopefully I didn't go overboard with my evil schemes! :P Our next one will be more of a normal challenge, I swear!

Anyway, this set is super lovely even if it is smaller than you wanted it to be - there are so many interesting an creative combinations here.

2 is gorgeous, love the blocking and the muted colors - a fantastic combo of my favorite things in the parents, both of which are also really nice!
LOVE everything about 3, the dark muted grunge is to die for. The subtlety of the texture use is so so great here (my problem with using grunge is that when I gor for it I go waaaayyy overboard with the textures and can never tell if it's too much, this kind of restraint can be so effective though!

The red/blue coloring in 7 with pink in the middle is so vibrant and eye-catching, such a fun way to combine the warm tones of parent 1 with the cooler tones in parent 2.
The composition in 8 is fantastic, blocking icons always benefit from some variance in the subject closeness and it's very effective here, the rotation is super interesting too!
FInally, the muted, cool colors in 10 are gorgeous and together with the lighting create a wonderfully mysterious atmosphere.
