Great icons, dear! Your Lana del Rey icons are absolutely flawless!

Ahhhhhhhhhhh these are wonderful! The one of Bones with text is SHEER BRILLIANCE. Looooove the Star Trek ones (the lighting on Pavel is amazing) and the one of Draco and the ones of Lana are wonderful, too (my favorites are the 1st, 3rd & 4th of her). Some of these will DEFINITELY be showing up in my monthly praise post ;)

(And seeing the icons you posted from your last post, I was reminded how much I love that one of Elizabeth Woodville. The colors, the texture, it's gorgeous & looks just like a painting. I just wish I liked Lizze so I could that icon!!! I'm on the last book in the series that The White Queen was based on & I wonder if these women were really as insufferable as Philippa Gregory makes them out to be. I root for Warwick & George when watching--even though I know how that all turned out!--because I really can't stand Elizabeth or Edward. Aaaaaaaaand I'm sorry for that tangent, wow, where did that come from? LOL. But still: STUNNING icon.)

Nope, I totally agree with you about Gregory. I swore I wasn't going to read her anymore after I finished The White Queen but then I found out the series was based on all 3 of the "The Cousins' Wars" books so I decided to go ahead and read them. Hated The Red Queen but sort of like The Kingmaker's Daughter but only because I don't know much about Anne Neville or Richard Duke of Glouchester (well, I don't know much about him before the "Princes in the Tower" incident). The Other Boleyn Girl should've been marketed as AU fiction because WOW could she have gotten more wrong?? That book makes me raaaaaaaaaaaaage; as if Anne & Mary's lives needed to be 'spiced up'! I keep seeing all these articles since TWQ premiered ~praising Gregory for her "historical accuracy" and I just want to write a letter-to-the-editor asking if the writer even bothered to Wiki the subjects Gregory writes about (this one in our local paper thinks her version of events in The Other Boleyn Girl is gospel). Then last night, I was getting ready to watch a movie on STARZ and they had a "behind-the-scenes" preview for TWQ and it had Gregory in it saying how history is so fascinating to her and she just makes it more palatable to modern readers. I yelled at the TV, my mom thought I lost my mind, it was awkward lol. BUT ANYHOO LOL...

Lovely icons! #30 has absolutely incredible colouring - the beautiful softness of the lighting and the bright green tones just work wonderfully together! I also adore the texture work in #56 and #60 - they are both so creative in their composition!
