Nope, I totally agree with you about Gregory. I swore I wasn't going to read her anymore after I finished The White Queen but then I found out the series was based on all 3 of the "The Cousins' Wars" books so I decided to go ahead and read them. Hated The Red Queen but sort of like The Kingmaker's Daughter but only because I don't know much about Anne Neville or Richard Duke of Glouchester (well, I don't know much about him before the "Princes in the Tower" incident). The Other Boleyn Girl should've been marketed as AU fiction because WOW could she have gotten more wrong?? That book makes me raaaaaaaaaaaaage; as if Anne & Mary's lives needed to be 'spiced up'! I keep seeing all these articles since TWQ premiered ~praising Gregory for her "historical accuracy" and I just want to write a letter-to-the-editor asking if the writer even bothered to Wiki the subjects Gregory writes about (this one in our local paper thinks her version of events in The Other Boleyn Girl is gospel). Then last night, I was getting ready to watch a movie on STARZ and they had a "behind-the-scenes" preview for TWQ and it had Gregory in it saying how history is so fascinating to her and she just makes it more palatable to modern readers. I yelled at the TV, my mom thought I lost my mind, it was awkward lol. BUT ANYHOO LOL...
